Meet Adrian Vore: Escondido Fitness Court Ambassador
"The Fitness Court network in Escondido, CA was a four year collaborative effort. I'm proud to have spearheaded the conversations as I saw a need for strength training and outdoor fitness to be accessible in our community. I was in contact with the City of Escondido's Director of Community Services, Joanna Axelrod, and she was able to secure grant funding from NFC for five Fitness Courts for Escondido residents and visitors. I am an official ambassador, along with a handful of others, who are proud to host free classes on the Fitness Courts. I have seen a tremendous difference in my health and I hope to continue to inspire others to take advantage of free outdoor exercise as well." - Adrian
Adrian now hosts weekly classes at the Library Fitness Court in Escondido and helps manage the Facebook group, which has 650 members and continues to grow everyday! Adrian is inspired by the community in Escondido and looks forward to continued free programming for all who are interested.
