The UCHealth and NFC Campaign in Colorado is delivering outdoor wellness infrastructure to help communities stay active across the state, in an effort to change health outcomes. Out of Colorado's 64 counties, there are open Fitness Courts® across 10.

Boulder, CO
When Boulder joined the UCHealth campaign in Colorado in 2023, they kicked off the start of a long-term partnership. Boulder Parks and Recreation, UCHealth and National Fitness Campaign committed to a multi-site build out of the Fitness Court® network with three major priorities in mind: accessibility, visibility and connectivity to city parks, trails and pedestrian infrastructure. The first launched at North Boulder Park in late fall 2023 with lots of foot traffic and residents using the Fitness Court® daily.
CSU Pueblo, CO
CSU Pueblo is well-known for its Outdoor Pursuits program that introduces students to all that Colorado has to offer in outdoor activities like rock and ice-climbing, biking, rafting, kayaking, hiking and of course, skiing. Naturally, an outdoor Fitness Court® that is free and accessible to not only the campus community, but the greater Pueblo community, was a natural fit.
Loveland, CO
A pilot community that launched in 2019, the City of Loveland was the first recipient of a UCHealth Fitness Court®. The Fitness Court® located at Fairgrounds Park offers a variety of free group fitness classes, bringing the local community together. Visitors to Fairgrounds Park have access to a fun spray park, playgrounds, pavilions, ball fields, basketball courts, a skate park, dog park and batting cages — an impactful wellness hub for the Denver-metro area.
Highlands Ranch, CO
The Highlands Ranch Metro District is home to 103,000 residents who value health and wellness. The Metro District comprises 26 parks with 86 miles of park trails and paved surfaces, ideal for walkers and cyclists to utilize in the community. Adjacent to UCHealth Medical Hospital, Central Park was selected as the ideal location for The Fitness Court® for its proximity to residential communities and its access just off the major arterial of Lucent Boulevard.
Loveland, CO
