Maine’s second largest city, the City of Lewiston, welcomed the state’s first Fitness Court® in September 2022, just blocks away from Community Health Options’ headquarters. The picturesque backdrop of the Androscoggin River that accompanies Simard-Payne Park is a perfect location for The Fitness Court®, creating a space to promote social interaction, pedestrian movement and healthy living.
Hampden, ME
The Town of Hampden opened the second Fitness Court® in the state at the Hampden VFW. A strong family community, the Town of Hampden has plans to incorporate The Fitness Court® into its existing teen and adult wellness programming – from senior walking and fitness classes to the local high school and recreational programming – The Fitness Court® is a huge win for the Hampden community.
