The Fitness Court®

Parklab, a leading group of open-space innovators in San Francisco, has partnered with National Fitness Campaign to install and activate a state-of-the-art outdoor gym facility for all ages in Mission Bay. Now this neighborhood is making fitness free — for everyone!

The new Parklab Fitness Court® is an outdoor bodyweight circuit training facility designed to transform the already thriving public space into a community fitness hub. The Fitness Court® wellness ecosystem is best used with the free Fitness Court App, which residents can use to track their training progress, learn new routines or compete in exciting fitness challenges.

Newest Addition to Parklab Commons

Mission Bay neighborhood residents enjoy a unique community landscape that connects, activates, and celebrates healthy urban infrastructure. The new fitness court joins the existing Parklab Commons’ public parks, SPARK Social SF food truck park, the Urban Sprouts community gardens, and the upcoming mini golf course, stretching five blocks across the Mission Bay neighborhood, along Mission Bay Boulevard North and South, from Terry A Francois Boulevard to Longbridge Street.

“NFC is proud to partner with Parklab Mission Bay, a community that prioritizes the health and well-being of residents. We can’t wait to launch our outdoor gym to such an active neighborhood here in our hometown of San Francisco” said Mitch Menaged, Founder. “See you on the Court!”

Community Celebration

The block party-esque Solstice Carnival is hosted by Parklab and Urban Sprouts, in collaboration with SFF Soccer, SPARK Social SF, Power Play SF, National Fitness Campaign, 826 Valencia, and the San Francisco Public Library. The celebrations featured fitness demos with prizes and giveaways, a petting zoo, food trucks, beer garden, hands-on gardening workshops, face painting, games, and live music. 100% of event proceeds support the Urban Sprouts job training programs, providing dynamic, green job opportunities to SF youth.
