Free fitness has arrived in the greater Baton Rouge, Louisiana metro area! Parish leaders have joined the National Fitness Campaign and installed the first Fitness Court® in the state. This vibrant community has decided to provide no-cost bodyweight circuit training workouts for adults of all fitness levels — and launch their local campaign to ignite healthy lifestyles for all.

The Fitness Court is designed to transform this thriving public park into a community wellness hub. A free Fitness Court App allows residents to track their training progress, learn simple seven-movement routines and compete in exciting fitness challenges!

Fitness and wellness are priorities for the leadership of East Baton Rouge, and this project came to life thanks to the hard work of a dedicated team. Led by Baton Rouge Mayor-President, Sharon Weston Broome, and the BREC Director of Parks and Recreation, Reed Richard, the new Fitness Court has attracted supporters and Ambassadors from all across the parish — excited to share their expertise to strengthen an active, free facility for everyone.
