SAN FRANCISCO, California, April 11, 2017– National Fitness Campaign (NFC), leading partner in community fitness, is now accepting grant applications to join the 100 Fit Cities Campaign in 2018.
Selected cities will showcase a world class NFC Fitness Court™, a free outdoor bodyweight fitness program reimagined to transform modern public spaces. The NFC ecosystem combines a simple, seven minute, high quality workout and connected, digital platforms to build fit communities.

Today Mitch Menaged, founder and inventor of the Fitness Court™, announces the 2018 Fit City Sponsor — Fit Radio. Partnered with Fit Radio, NFC will award $10,000 per city to support the development of localized fitness campaigns in 100 iconic new locations across the United States throughout 2018.
With beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the modern redesigned Fitness Court™ was installed in San Francisco in 2014. Hundreds of thousands of residents and visitors use it every year, and now “cities across the country have been begging for one of their own,” says Menaged. “NFC is excited to partner with people that want to promote healthy lifestyles and connected communities.”
Early grant applications will be approved on a rolling basis beginning in June 2017. Grants will be awarded to qualified cities each month, with partner announcments commencing in August.
